Arian's Art

This is by far my favorite project I have made! I LOVE IT! Attached the handle today and its bagged with some wet clay for tonight before drying and heading into the bisque! I also footed that tall cylinder today, but it dried so much last night that I can't attach a handle anymore, so I guess I'll just be turning it into a vase or something, who knows.

I LOVE THIS MUG!

I threw it on Monday and footed it today and pulled a handle for it. Hoping to slip and score the handle on tomorrow. I love this project so much! Its actually thick for once, since usually I make projects really thin, but this one is nice and thick and has some good weight to it. It's going to be a perfect mug! :) I'm super proud of it!

The cylinder I threw Friday was WAY to wet to foot yesterday and even today still, odd.. Ill try footing it tomorrow and making a handle for that one two. Plus! That vase came out yesterday! The big one I finally got around to glazing. It gorgeous! I'll post pictures soon. I love it! Hope you do too! :)

I finally made something!! Yay!! :)

This is a tall cylinder that I made on Friday and I am planning on turning it into a tall mug. I'll foot it and pull, slip, and score the handle on Monday.
Also! The projects that I had put in on Thursday didn't get fired by Friday so unfortunately they wont be out until tomorrow. Hopefully they'll turn out nice though! Fingers Crossed!

SO.. Ive been sick all week. Today was my first day back.

Sick + No Ceramics = :(

Anyways - I haven't been able to make anything this week, or last week, or the week before.. I'm getting boring, I understand, and I'm sorry! I galzed three projects today though and hopefully they'll be out tomorrow so I can put up pictures! Yay!

Unforunately this week I haven't done much in the way of creating new projects in ceramics. We just got back from our Spring Break and I have been helping out around the classroom more than making projects for myself. My two mugs were bisqued and came out wonderfully! The smaller of the two I glazed today and it should be put through the gas kiln tonight. This week though I have primarily been making and testing glazes, helping around the class, and studying up on some different ceramic art facts and images. I've been trying to get an idea of what I should try making as a challenge or just something new for fun. So I've come up with a lot of idea this week, ho
